Reader comment on item: Canada's Muslims, Not of One Mind
in response to reader comment: ignorant and the short cut

Mr Slayhy, from the UAE, writes:

"..an ingorant (sic) is short for "a person who is ignorant" - it is an adjective of you"

The word is 'i g n o r a n t' , MR Slayhy. And it is not 'short' for anything. It is an adjective. Do you understand that? Adjectives describe nouns.

Languages are designed for communication. The English language , amongst many others, has certain grammatical rules. It makes no sense for a person whose first language is not English - to go about making his own rules in the vain hope that others will adopt them. That's sounds almost like narcissistic behaviour.

It makes as much sense as writing 'you are a yellow'.

But the real point here is your utter failure to provide facts to back up your claims - apart from self-referencing assertions such as ' it's in the Koran so because Allah wrote the Koran - it must be true'.

You now consistently do what Muslims do when they realise they can't produce facts when questioned - revert to name-calling.
