Reader comment on item: Canada's Muslims, Not of One Mind
in response to reader comment: Allow minorities their beliefs and laws

Unless the Middle East, esp Saudi Arabia, allow the religious minority to build churches, you are a hypocrite saying the 600,000 Muslims in Canada are just a minority and should be given leeway to practice Sharia Law. We are vigilant. When you are a small number, you just demand a little but when you grow large in population, you want all your demands accomodated. If they want Sharia Law, why not go back to Saudi , Iran, Libya, pakistan , Indonesia or any other large empty tracts of land in the Middle East and live there! Nobody forces you guys to come here. Canada has its own laws and that is not a religious law but by the law of common sense and equality though there are some when it is not too just but at least it is quite better off than the Sharia law. Look at Egypt now. And soon Libya where the new government wants to impose Sharia Law. A small crack is dangerous to the future.
