You fail to understand that Sharia law is different to the laws of Canada and countries like Australia.

They are not the same, they are NOT SIMILAR

Our countries do not allow nor permit, capital or corporal punishment, they insist on equality between the sexes, they do not allow 9 yo girls to marry old men, they do not allow slavery, they do not discriminate on the basis of religion. They do not permit murder. They make suicide illegal.

So if you remove all the areas we disprove of Sharia, we are left with what we have!

To implement any areas of Sharia law would be to erode the obligation of the laws of a country to try and protect equally its citizens.

Sharia law represents inequality - Canadian law is not perfect, but like most modern countries, it evolves with time.

Sharia and Islam stand for and represent stagnation.

I do not fear Sharia law, I just look down upon it as a primitive, immoral, unjust and backward !
