Reader comment on item: Canada's Muslims, Not of One Mind
in response to reader comment: can't go on with this ...

Submitted by the Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), Nov 10, 2011 at 20:06

Mr Slayhy, unable to give a cogent reply or offer any proof of the existence of Buraks, writes:

"..The problem, you are not using common sense "

I do not call uncritical acceptance of the islamic mythology 'common sense'. Obviously, Mr Slayhy does.

"...When reading your comments I am laughing and sometimes loud Ignorance is not an excuse"

If someone is ignorant - but willing to see that - then the ignorance can be excused. For someone to believe they have the 'truth' and therefore never seek to expand their horizons and see that 'tuth' has no opinions - they deceive themselves and cannot progress further.

"....can refute all what you said, but it is a waste of time and energy no reply from me. no thank you"

i.e. Mr Slayhy is unable to provide evidence of the existence of Al Burak, has no clue about heaven or hell , and relies on his unique worldview cobbled together over a lifetime of uncritical acceptance of arabian myth and fable handed down from generation to generation in an arabian culture which allows no real choice in which path to follow in pursuit of self-actualisation.
