Reader comment on item: "Free Gaza" Flotilla Defeats the Israel Defense Forces

somehow we've all tumbled down a rabbit hole and ended up in a topsy turvy world where nothing seems to make proper sense. no matter what Israel does or doesn't do is completely wrong and the world sees nothing wrong in castigating Israel for simply defending its people. you wish to lob rockets or stage raids to kill and/or kidnap, the world will attack Israel if they respond. how soon it's forgotten that when the world faced it greatest threat from the nazis, who it was who spent his time in Berlin and raised ss troops to fight along side Hitler.

what five arab nations attacked Israel at its inception thinking they'd be easy pickings. when Nasser commited acts of war prior to the 67 war, was there any protest? protests came after Israel had three arab armies on the ropes and could have gone where they wished. in 1973, when Israel stood at the brink of defeat, was there any protests about attacking Israel? only after the tide had turned were there any protests because once again Israel could have completely decimated their enemies. even today, after Israel has made many concessions of territory to try to bring about some stability and peace to the region, the world trumpets that Israel doesn't do enough. even if Israel would agree to give up all its land and go and live on the sea bottom, the world would probably scream the Israel is using too much salt. it seems that the Red Queen rules most of the world shouting "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS" any time Israel acts in its defense.
