As everything in life, tribalism (and also sharia) has its positive side and certain negatives. Let's for a second focus on sharia, though. For a Christian like myself, sharia in a country where I live would mean dhimmitude, wouldn't it? But I do not want your benevolent rule over myself. I want equal status in places where you are in majority, and I have no problem with you having equal status with everyone else in my country as well as in any places where you constitute minority.

Is granting me equal status in your country and you accepting no special privileges in mine possible with full application of sharia?
