Islam is the cause of Middle East and World problems!!!

Reader comment on item: The Middle East's Tribal Affliction

Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Jan 24, 2008 at 11:09

"Why is the Middle East so at odds with modern life, laggard in everything from literacy to standard of living, from military prowess to political development?"

It can be summed up in one word : ISLAM

Salzman is barking up the wrong tree!!! Did he pay any attention to the role of Islam in shaping their psychosis? Apparently not.

Islam supersedes all other explanations. Remove Islam from the world and you will find these people behaving like normal human beings!
