Islam and Nazism

Reader comment on item: The Middle East's Tribal Affliction
in response to reader comment: Profundity or hubris?

Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Jan 28, 2008 at 05:55

The comment equates the West with Nazi ideology which instigated the horrors of the last century, But the reverse is true. nazism and Islam are close ideologies, as evidenced by Haj Amin Al Hussaini who said "islam and nazism are one". Nazism is not the west, it is a perversion of the Mythical Norse with modern weapons in hand. The only reason islam had not wrought greater damage is because it did not have the weapons, but give them the weapons (iran comes to mind) and they will, proving their superiority Ubber Alles.
