My point about Irish & Basques is precisely that them being Christian is probably more important in current subsiding of violence than tribal/clan background in originally starting terror campaign.

Concerning Chechens and other Caucuses natives, I have first hand knowledge and observation of their habits as I am from the same region. So I don't have to read leftist B.S. to get my opinion. In fact Christian Highlanders in Caucuses have remarkably better record than Muslim ones in avoiding terrorism. Again Ossetians who are mixed Christian/Muslim have a very good record.
