Why is criticism of Ariel Sharon, or Israel construed as anti-semitism? One can disapprove of, and speak against the slaughter in Rwanda, without being tarred a racist. Being potentially labeled an "anti-semite" does have a chilling effect on criticism, so I suspect the conflating of the one with the other isn't accidental.
