Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn

I read the link you posted from William on Debbie's interview. I personally believe that most of what she says is right. You can't stop terrorism by attacking countries. America also puts its interest first and suppresses others.

I can give at least two examples:

America supported Taliban to fight Russians.

America supported Pakistan to stand against Indo-Russia friendship.

Now think honestly, don't you think part of the war on Iraq is Oil? If not then why the heck Dick Cheney's oil companies are making so much money? Don't you think the innocent children or parents who are getting killed in Iraq will have a feeling of revenge against USA?

...I think Bush has ruined what was America. Even though America is now being very friendly to India, but i know that most people hate America.

Like i say, if almost everyone hates you, then either you are wrong or everyone is wrong. The chances are that you are wrong. Almost everyone who is not a muslim hates muslims and similarly, everyone who is not an american hates america.

Chose to blame what you want but IMO both America and Muslims have done very bad things to this world to deserve this hate. I am so glad however that now both are fighting each other. It is at least leaving other countries to peace:)
