A Madrasa in Brooklyn

Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn

Submitted by Roberto Vicencio (Philippines), Apr 24, 2007 at 21:08

The Islamists know the weakness of the west very well. Under the cover of the freedoms given by the US, this institution which will no doubt foster hate will rise. Right in the center of one of radical Islams victims. New York City. The Judeo Christian upbringing odf the majority prevents such structures of hate from being barred. Instead allowing such schools to be beuilt in order to show that we are unlike the extreme Islamists.

I felt ill as I read the article because I know that there is hardly anything you can do to prevent another possible center of terrorism to rise right in the sacred heart of the victims of 9/11.
