NY Times suggests opening of the school will be postponed (5/4)

Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn

Submitted by R. Davidson (United States), May 4, 2007 at 08:02

I happened to look at New York Times on the Web and found an article discussing this school and its principal. Naturally, Daniel Pipes was also quoted. Oddly, the public funding of the school was not stressed. Klein got so many complaints that he is at least considering postponing the opening.

In the meantime, why not let the headmistress do some fundraising and open up without public funds and let the families who are interested pay for tuition.
