Whom to believe ? Pipes or ADL ?Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn Submitted by Gershon Goldsteen (Australia), May 26, 2007 at 22:58 Dear Dr. Pipes I read most of the comments under the heading "The Travails of Brooklyn's Arabic Academy". Most of those I read did not deal with the proposed school but with the threat of Islam. In that regard I support all those who warned us (I did not read any of the comments in this blog). I then turned to the link to the ADL letter and was surprised that their opinion, based on a long experience with Ms. Almontaser and what she stands for, is in direct contradiction of what you wrote about her and her plans for the school. I have read many of your articles over the years and have come to respect you, however I also respect the ADL. So whom can I believe ? Yours Faithfully from way down under (I live in Tasmania) Gershon Goldsteen Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Believe whom you wish, but I raised a number of abstract and specific issues that the ADL did not deal with. They remain out there, unanswered. Comment on this item
