Don't Muslims pay tax in the USA? Yes, they do. But that does not mean they should get separate and special considerations. They are free to go to established schools like all children of the school system in Brooklyn. Multicultural means multicultural, not mono-cultural (i.e., Arabic).

What was North America before the colonisers? Whatever it was at that time has no relationship to to-days's reality. And you are part of the same colony (if you live in USA). So, stop complaining. Your Arabia is not the same today as it was 500 years ago (when Ottoman turks ruled Arabs) or 80 years ago, when French and British colonialists ruled Arabs.

Is the USA still a secular country? Yes. It was not, you will not be practising your Islam here; you will be practising protestant christianity here -- remember, the original colonists were protestant Englishmen.
