Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn

Submitted by Singha (India), Apr 25, 2007 at 01:27

In South Asia, during the past two centuries the role that Deoband and Aligarh Muslim University (erstwhile Anglo Mohummadean College) played in growth of Islamism is immense.

US would do well to stop this mohummadean institute from starting operations. While the quran and the sunnath enhances muslim extremism at the home and the mosque, mohummadean academic institute in Brooklyn, if allowed ,will add another dimension to islamism.
