Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn
in response to reader comment: An Interesting (?) Name for this School ?

Kahlil Gibran was a positive influence for me as a young man, and helped to sustain me with his poetry and verse during some very dark times during the Vietnam conflict. The Prophet is a wonderful book. Nowhere does he say to kill the infidel, chop off hands, enslave women, or any of the other basics of the "RELIGION OF PEACE" . Deception pure and simple. Like Hitler calling a Nazi school the Ghandi Academy.
