Why not exclude all Germans

it seems to me that if the reasoning behind excluding Tariq Ramadan is to punish him for the ideology of his grandfather, then we should also bar all german nationals from entering the US, because afterall the vast majority of their grandparents were nazi's and are directly related to the criomes committed against humanity, and obviously they pose a clear and present danger to all peace loving people everywhere. ...

I don't know of anyone, including myself, who advocated excluding Ramadan because of his parentage. At the same time, that is a major factor in his life and his stature that needs to be mentioned.
