It is easy to accuse! How many people have actually been listening to TR or reading his books?I have been reading Tariq Ramadan's books and listening to his speeches for the past 4 years. ...
TR often criticizes Muslims for their lack of intellectual honesty. He always encourages Muslims to pursue dialogue rather than confrontation. Never has he incited people to take arms to fight. Obviously he does not opposes any people's right to self-defense or struggling to obtain their fundamental human rights. Is that so strange?
It is easy to accuse! How many people have actually heard his invitation to cooperation and solidarity, not just among Muslims, but also with atheists, agnostics, Jews, Christians, Bhudists,...? TR would be in jail if there was any shred of truth in your accusations.
What is more objectionable, to invade a country illegally based on false accusations, causing the death of tens of thousands of civilians (men, women and children) or to accept an invitation by a university to head a research project for peacebuilding?
As long as there are people like Tariq Ramadan, there is hope for humanity.
