Not So Fast ... TariqReader comment on item: Why Revoke Tariq Ramadan's U.S. Visa? Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Aug 27, 2004 at 08:41 The never ending saga of Islamists and their various organizational sympathizers like CAIR who attempt to influence the minds and hearts of whoever is listening that terrorism isn't terrorism but "intervention" goes on and on until it meets the DHS.Whoever dies during one of the "interventions" isn't dead but asleep in paradise. Whatever is destroyed in an "intervention" isn't rubble but a pile waiting for a new creation. A mosque is still a religious place as long as it is used in a "religious intervention." I've been a fan of Dr. Pipes for years. I've read his books, listened to his various interviews on television and watched some of his seminars on C-Span and what he's been saying for all these past years has finally been proven as truth and our friends in the Middle East, the grand spinners of everything, must eventually confront that truth. Perhaps the masters of intervention might learn from Dr. Pipes that intervention isn't the great liberator. Truth is. It may be a bitter pill to swallow, unpleasant and uncomfortable, one may even have to reform and/or evolve, but in the final analysis it is liberating. Instead of berating Dr. Pipes, they ought to listen to the professor. They might even learn something.
