Thank you Tariq for clarifying so much information for me. Sadly it appears that it may be years before I can acquire the scientific knowledge of Muslims. However, respectfully I wish to point out the following information. I made references to 3 Holy Qur'ans that I had read. The first Qur'an was authored by J.M. Rodwell, the second Qur'an I received from "Let the Qur'an Speak", a Television show sponsored by Muslim Society, and the third Qur'an, I downloaded from a Muslim Web Site. The Sunnah, I made reference to was downloaded from a Muslim web site and it is in my computer today as I use it for reference.
The first 5 chapters are:
1. Revelation
2. Belief
3. Knowledge
4. Ablutions (Wudu')
5. Bathing (Ghusl)
and the last 5 chapter are:
89. Judgments (Ahkaam)
90. Wishes
91. Accepting Information Given by a Truthful Person
92. Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah
93. ONENESS, UNIQUENESS OF ALLAH (TAWHEED)
From Internet version: Aya 18:86: Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
So as a knowledgeable Muslim, can you explain exactly what is stated in Aya 18:86?
And this is a statement from the "Sayings of Muhammad"; can you explain it to me?
Hazrat Abdullah Muslem asked Muhammad(PBUH): "Ya Rasul Allah! Please tell us, on what does this vast earth stand?" Muhammad(PBUH) replied: "Allah has placed this seven-layered, huge earth on the horn of a cow. This cow has four thousand such horns, and the distance from one horn to another is a journey of five hundred years. This gigantic cow is standing on the back of a giant fish. This fish is floating on glutinous water; the depth of this water is the distance of a journey of forty years. The glutinous water is resting on floating air. This air or atmosphere is resting on darkness. The darkness rests upon the Hell and that Hell is placed on a massive stone. This massive stone is resting on the head of an enormous Farishta (angel); the Farishta is standing on wind and the wind is resting on the empty world of Allah's Kudrat (glory).
