Whose land?

Reader comment on item: What Jewish Ties to Jerusalem?
in response to reader comment: Sorry, but you have your history wrong

"Israel controlled from Turkey to Egypt, and from the Mediterranean to Iraq after Moses and the children of Israel came into what God called the Land of Canaan, which took place about 1,400 BC.."

'....after moses and the children of israel came into....' first, this fragment, especially the term 'came into' often implies found or acquired, often by unclear ,deceptive, or dishonest means. It also commonly can mean inherited, either way, it wasn't theirs to begin with.

It seems to me that if the Canaanites held claim to the land and started the city, then it is the jews who stole it from them. Even if they did it at the direction of God, it is still a theft.

If ever there is to be peace in the middle east, Jerusalem should be an international city, held neither by the fanatic muslims, nor the oppressive jews.

Truth be told, the real victims here are the Armenian Christians that are routinely murdered by both the muslim 'terrorists" and the jewish "authorties".
