Reader comment on item: What Jewish Ties to Jerusalem?

Submitted by Harrak (Canada), Jun 20, 2006 at 12:02

It is true to say that the Palestinian authorities and Pan-Arab revisionists on the issue of Jerusalem had introduced a lot of fantasies. That is absolutly true. They also change the Cannaanite/ Israeli idea to stress Arab/Jews fantasies..no question about that...

I think it is up to Muslims and their scholars to decide wether to give up or not their rights on Jerusalem. When we say Muslims, we do not exclude Iran and Pakistan, nor do we exclude Indonesia.

Jerusalem is a Christian, Muslim and Jewish issue. It is not an issue of Turks, Arabs and Mohawk. It is a religion not a race issue..but yes there has been some fraud and fiction from both Arab revisionist and Jewish revisionists.

Sayying that Muslims did not care much about Jerusalem and used it when needed applies also to Jews. They did not care at all from the days in Egypt to the days in Poland. The Zionist move is revisionist ideology in itself that used Jerusalem when needed.

The term Jewish conquest of Jerusalem, the last time I heard it was on a televized friday prayer. This time hear it from Dr Pipes. I believe in occupy, invade, take over etc.. Conquest and martyrdom is not my cup of tea..
