Reader comment on item: What Jewish Ties to Jerusalem?

Thank you for your disturbing but accurate precis of the Palestinian mindset on Jerusalem. It's rather unbeliavable that anyone could believe such rubbish. P.T. Barnum said it best : " There's a sucker born every minute".

Why is it that many have trouble understanding that Jerusalem is holy to Jews ? Why is it that they feign an inability to understand why Jerusalem must always will be the capital of any Jewish state ?

I wonder what would happen if Israel, its citizens and the Jewish people adopted the Muslim stance on Mecca for Jerusalem. Just asking.
