"Many people here in Israel who support the withdrawal, including avowed 'peaceniks', have no qualms about telling people that "now we can send in our airforce to pound them and the world won't be able to say anything".

This kind of logic shows the lack of understanding they have concerning the true intentions and attitude of the rest of the world towards Israel. Faith, thank you for your words which reflect, in my opinion, the absolute truth. It is my belief that Sharon is either relying on his own sincere, but fallible, understanding concerning the security of Israel or is bowing to the dictates of world opinion. Either way he is not acknowleding the commandments handed down to the Prophets by the God of Israel concerning what must be done to secure the land for the Chosen People.
