Forced expulsions are illegal in international law.

Israel's action in forcibly expelling Jews from Gaza and Northern Samaria breaches two international conventions to which Israel is a signatory.

International encouragement and support for such expulsions has created a dangerous precedent that can now be applied anywhere else in the world.
