Unilateral Withdrawal

Reader comment on item: [The Gaza Withdrawal:] A Democracy Killing Itself

Submitted by Howard Mintz (United States), Aug 15, 2005 at 16:17

Unfortunately many American Jews believe that the withdrawal from Gaza will promote peace. I would encourage them to review the history of appeasement. Force and strong will are the only thing that the Palestians respect. When they believe an action shows weakness, they will strike. They have no desire for peace, look how many opportunities they have had but squandered. G-d, please watch over Israel, because their leadership seems to have forgotten how to do so. H. Mintz
