It is one thing to evacuate settlers from a strip of land that resembles a boiling cauldron so that they will not be caught in the cross fire of what might be an Arab vs. Arab civil war in the Gaza Strip; it is something entirely different to suffer loss of nerve in the ongoing struggle between Arab Aryanism and those who do not line up with it.

I hope I am wrong, because it looks like those who are calling the shots in Israel are abandoning the chapter of Jewish History which began with the Dreyfus Affair and looks like a return to Diaspora. The main thing for them is to remain Jewish, and it is becoming more and more difficult when you have a confluence of variables fueling Arab Aryanism at the expense of the multi ethnic and multi faith character of the State of Israel.
