Reader comment on item: [The Gaza Withdrawal:] A Democracy Killing Itself

Submitted by orange yonason (United States), Aug 18, 2005 at 13:49

BS"D

Our Sages tell us that there are some people who are humbled by the generosity of others, and there are others who become haughty and demand ever more.

The Arab "Palestinian" enemy falls into the second category, as indeed our Sages also relate (noteably Rashi, in this week's Parsha), not to be judgmental, but to warn us against attempts to win their favor by appeasing them and to instruct us why such attempts are futile and can only fail.

They have already celebrated this latest "victory" [ http://www.jnewswire.com/library/article.php?articleid=620 ] over us, and that elation is feeding their lust for yet more.

(via: http://www.israpundit.com/archives/2005/08/shocking_news_o.php )]

And that is indicated in Dr. Pipes title of another piece, taken from the United Nations sponsored prpaganda campaign of banners, bumper stickers, mugs, and T-shirts bearing the slogan "Today Gaza and Tomorrow the West Bank and Jerusalem,"

(I see Bruce and Anatoly picked up on this in comments to Dr.Pipes previous article:

...which only reflects their true intention to continue the war. After all, why quite when you are winning, and the world is cheering you on?

And how will they proceed? What will future attacks involve? Well, it's sure they will be worse than what has preceeded them. Of course, not many people know what's been going on, because the MSM have, for whatever motives, imposed a blackout on news of the activities of Israel's enem..., oh, I mean (wink-wink-nudge-nudge) "peace" partner.

The following information on the PA sanctioned terror activity against Israel, which you won't find in any of the MSM, who insist that only a couple of isolated incidents have marred the current "peaceful" relations that prove the PA is a "serious" partner," is copied from:

And that's in just TWO DAYS!!!

Now, does that look like an honest attempt at peaceful relations to you?

Oh, yes, and does it look like the MSM just might have "missed" something important and newsworthy there?

When they have full access to the sea, and an airport, and Al Queda among their already teeming terrorist hords, and complete freedom to prepare for an allout assault on Israel, who in their right mind thinks that they won't escalate the violence. Who thinks the above list of attacks is anything but childs play compared to what will follow?
