Sharon's strategy: Fight aggressors on their own turf?

As we have witnessed over the years, Gaza has been very difficult to secure due to the hostile Palestinians living *among* the settlers. Now, by pulling out of Gaza, we can seperate the Palestinians from the settlers and isolate the aggressive elements into a region what we now know as Gaza. It will become much easier to respond to any terrorist attacks on Israel until the Palestians understand that their hatred and indoctrination will only bring misery and destruction.

Perhaps we should see the Gaza pullout as Sharon's strategic move to isolate the terrorists from the jewish settlers, thereby making it possible the fight aggressors on their own turf?
