Tollerance or acceptance?

Reader comment on item: British Opinion Surveys from an Islamist Hell

So we are to tolerate people? I see that tolerance is an echo of the Christian ideal of acceptance. People have to be really careful of what they call multiculturalism. A freind of mine, who was living in Melbourne, saved a small child a serious accident when he was racing head long into the traffic of Sydney Road. His father remonsrated with her when he told her to not touch his child... He and his child were of Arab extraction.

And there is nowhere in the Koran where it says that women must wear a veil or other garb which was basically a cultural desert thing any way.

Free speech has truly taken a battering because it resides in the strongly held Asian idea of "not losing face" and distorts the christian ethos of loving the unlovely the agape love which mdisplays it's self in the creation opf hospitals etc in our "Western" society.
Remember Christianity, in it's self, is an Eastern Religion, and it is why a country like the UK is strong because of the transcendent idea of acceptance, NOT TOLERANCE!
Tolerance is a cold agreement ACCEPTANCE is a warm hug.
