Islamic teachings state - no muslim can challenge other gods, for fear he may challenge allah himself. Nor may he attempt to forcibly, or deceptively, change another's belief. This in particular refers to christians and jews, as they are regarded as religions of "the scripture". As an atheist maybe I should be the most threatened, yet I feel somehow there is more to this supposed "conflict" than simply religion, religion being a perfect idealistic tool when making others do one's bidding.
