Reader comment on article: British Opinion Surveys from an Islamist Hell

It would be also nice to include in the polls some questions about the reasons why muslims live in european countries.

If the majority stay there because of better work and living conditions, we may conclude that individuals with radical views are complete hypocrites - they admit having better life in Europe but still consider this place evil. If they stay specifically for the purpose of changing it to their standards, peacefully or violently, then we have to admit the peaceful means don't seem to be visible. Muslims don't seem to create political movemements for non-Muslim causes, don't participate actively in the electing process, don't promote their views on open forums involving multiple confessions.

Where does it leave us? We have a bunch of violent extremists on one side and another bunch of hypocrites who use the western society to improve their lives and hate it at the same time.

I would like to be wrong, but I don't see any evidence to the contrary.
