These are Arab Sex Related Stories, Not Muslim

Reader comment on item: Strange Sex Stories from the Muslim World

Having glanced over the titles, I realized that most of these scenarios arise because of Arab culture rather than Islam & Muslim practices. Many normal Muslims will find these stories to be as appalling and strange as any other westerner. Arabs tend to bend Islam to favor their beliefs. For example: the 4 wives rule was applicable to prevent businessmen who were away in another country for 6-9 months from cheating on their wives with prostitutes. One would have to make sure to keep all 2-4 wives equally happy (which is a seemingly impossible task). Thus those that choose this option are bound to fail & hence should be avoided. Arab guys are in power & they want to have "legal" sex so they changed the rule. They 1st made it ok 2 marry 4 people & then increased it so that some guy could actually have 80 some wives.
