Reader comment on item: Strange Sex Stories from the Muslim World

Submitted by Lynn (United States), Jul 6, 2009 at 09:58

Are we importing this madness into our country (USA) too? Mohammad might have died a couple of thousand years ago but his legacy ... lives on.

And of course the usual excuse "blame someone else" for their behavior is always waiting in the wings when they are confronted with their crimes against even their own fellow believers.

Women against women, men against men, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, father and mother against daughter and son and children against parents. This theme played on and on seems to find a comforting home in Islam where the tortured twists and turns in human relationships become business as usual. After all is it not ideal to emulate the behavior of the founder of Islam?

Reading these stories, one can't help but cringe at the thought that this is normal to a large part of the world. Reading those stories one can't help but be concerned about importing this way of life into the West. We have enough problems of our own and don't need to take on their problems.

All those tortured souls crying out for freedom trapped in the cage of Islam, where freedom is something to be fought not embraced.
