Reader comment on item: Arabian Sex Tourism
in response to reader comment: Pathetic excuse

Submitted by letuslive (United Arab Emirates), Jun 29, 2010 at 02:30

After the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, a number of young girls were 'smuggled' into the Western world and the rest of the Middle East to fuel this passion for 'free sex'. In the UAE where I live, many women belonging to Central and South East Asia, riddled by unemployment back home, are brought to fill the lives of its inhabitants with sexual pleasure. People for ALL nationalities are the 'beneficiaries' and not just the Arabs alone. A walk in streets of Dubai after midnight is sufficient to prove this point. Yet NO ONE dares say a word about this trafficking and prostitution that is the 'charm' of this so-called free land. NO ONE!! Why do ... stay quiet to that? Islam denounces prostitution in all forms, be it under the guise of Mutah marriage or anything else. In order to comment on the religion, do the hard work first by understanding the religion and then look at what Muslims are doing the world over. People living in other parts of the world do not identify with the barbaric Arab practices; Arab, not Islamic, I add.
