in response to reader comment: More? Understanding The Holy Bible is More Than Debating It; It is Believing It Against Human Logic

Hi Mr. Tovey,

I agree with you that since we started on the topic regarding the identity of Israel we have moved away from the thing.

What I have found in your viewpoint an attitude to dismiss any sort of criticism on Israeli policies simply because according to you Israel can not do any wrong since they are the choosen people.

Your criticism of someone like Prophet Abraham on the grounds that you mentioned is selfish at best. Remeber who are you to criticise someone like Prophet Abraham ? And another thing if you consider LORD to be Almighty then do you think that Prophet Abraham would have done anything without his LORD's permission and encouragement ? Do not you think there is any divine impulse behind the birth of Ishamel ?

Another point why on earth would the LORD help Ishmael and bibi Hajra when they were thirsty in the desert and calling for water ? Do you think the LORD would have helped Ishmael and bibi Hajra if they have turned to be evil ?

I must say from your interpretation of Bible that you seem to only interpret it in the way that suits your worldview. Now the problem arises when you rejecy anything that does not suit your interests.

You are certainly right that Good and Evil exists in the world. But you may not be rightly able to understand what is Good and what is evil if you only stick to your own interpretation of scritptures. The LORD is much more wiser than you and me and he is not bind to anything including his scriptures.

The problem lies when you call evil the things that Jesus Christ called good and when you call good lthose things that Jesus called evil.

Remember Jesus told us to try to look after the poor , sick and needy. That was exactly what the nine dead in the Gaza Floatila were doing. The problem lies when Christian evangelists start calling these people as "terrorists" or "radicals". If bringing aid to the needy people i nGaza is terrorism and radicalism then Jesus Christ is the bigegst terrorist on the history of the mankind.

Now killing is considered evil. Remember the ten commandments "Thou shall not kill". So when Christian evangelicals praise the Israel commandos and US marines for killing innocents all over the Muslim world , well that is going agaisnt the scripture , I believe.

I would live to know your viewpoint on all the above.
