no historical ties ?

Reader comment on item: Accepting Israel as the Jewish State[: Public Opinion in Four Arab Countries]

Submitted by myth (Germany), May 16, 2010 at 15:27

SoccerDad found some impressive sign of ignorance, charter they call it. Israel existing for over 60years is some historical tie is it not ? Anyone who thinks different please estimate your own lifetime. To make this argument more accessible for an islamic audience: Israel has been existing for over forty years. For the other historical ties I recommend going to any travel agency open one of those folders which explain why Israel is a holiday destination. As for the charter, it is not really the Palestinian's job nor their authority to document jewish history. Even based on this tiny fragment of common sense the reference should not be in there.
