Hi Mr. M Tovey ,

On the question of Bhopal tragedy , I do not have any problem in accepting that the Indian government deserves a large share of the blame by not doing it's best in bringing the guilty to justice. What baffles me though is the response of the Christian evangelists to this tragedy . I really do not remember any bigwig evangelical Christians like Pat Robertson or John Hagee saying anything regarding Bhopal or BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Regarding your view that those Christians who call war on the name of Christ are not true Christians , let me remind you that a majority of the America's evangelical Christians including major celebrities like Pat Robertson , John Hagee , Rick Warren and Albert Mohler Junior either did not oppose the Iraq war or supported it by showing Biblical references. A majority of the American evangelicals still support another war on Iran in which innocent Muslims are going to be killed.

So do you want to say that a majority of your American evangelicals are not in your own words "true Christians" ?

Now let me come to the most important point that is American exceptionalism. Americans since the beginning of their nationhood has justified them as exceptional people and the justification has been done on the basis of the same HEBREW HOLY BIBLE that you also accept as the basis of your worldview.

Now all the major evil things happening around the world (Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and events like Hiroshima are jsut very small examples) are because of American exceptional belief , that you have to accept. Since HEBREW HOLY BIBLE is the basis of American exceptionalsim , kindly tell me is it not time for "true" Christians like you to beg forgiveness to the world for giving the moral foundation to the all the evils that American exceptionalism has let loose in this world ?
