Hi Mr. Tovey,

If I analyze your arguments from this post then I can understand that you are not interested in analyzing the origin and content of Gospels in any way other than your own Biblical interpretation.

Mr. Helmut Koester has personally written on the historisity of Jesus Christ a lot and he has given a lot of proofs to prove his point. He basically believes that Jesus did not die on cross and he came to India and died in Kashmir , a disputed region between India and Pakistan.

Now If you believe absolutely that no one can alter or change the truth of the resurrection since it is ordained by LORD ALMIGHTY then why do you not check those proofs of Mr. Helmut Koester ? Remember that German was putting his life in line to bring up his proofs. Or do you fear that your belief or faith will get a jolt once you come to analyze the proofs of Mr. Helmut Koester since those proofs might not be false after all ? Remember if Mr. Koester is false your faith will be justified and if he is true you may learn some new things. So it is a win-win thing for you.

I understand your point that the Gospel writers have been inspired by the Holy Spirit and they absolutely followed that Guidance. But the point here is that as you yourself will understand that unlike Jesus , John , Mark , Matthew and Luke were all normal men so even if they were inspired by the Holy Spirit but they still could have messed up the whole things since they were human beings. Remember men have their own egoes and intellect. So even if they were guided by the same holy spirit they might have interpreted things differently since they are human beings only and not GOD. This probably explains why were there so many differences and sects even in the very early days of Christianity on the very point of the character of Jesus Christ.

I request you to kindly look into my above position and give your views on my position.
