Accepting the Truth of an Israeli Jewish State

Reader comment on item: Accepting Israel as the Jewish State[: Public Opinion in Four Arab Countries]

That there is yet to be an acknowledgment by many in the global community of not merely Israel's right to exist, but to exist in a political entity in conformance with the same expectations of, say Iran, in an Islamic Revolutionary Regime: that is; Israel was, and is, formed as a state with governance by its Judaic principles and practices, something Jews have been denied in virtually every other dominion they have been strangers in. Within that context, those not of a Judaic background do have an ability to become Israeli citizen, but are expected to be governed by an Israeli leadership. Therein lies the rub, that doing so goes against the very heart and passion of a practicing Muslim.

Now this can be debated around and around, and it has, but the impatience of Islam in dealing with Judaism is protracted only by pressures of those with whom Islam has made hudna type concessions. During those breaks, there is always a build-up by Israel's detractors of preparations for the next confrontation after the pressure limit is exceeded; eventually the pressure will not be contained.

If even a mere fraction of the observation of preparations Hamas and Hizbollah are making are true, that point of rupture is close and ready.

If there is still a certain reluctance to understand why Islam cannot countenance a Jewish state, like it has been said many times when trying to understand what Muslims are prepared to do: listen to what they say in their mosques, and not what they say to the media in English. The Quran is written in Arabic for a reason, for it says in Arabic exactly what practicing Muslims are supposed to do. Loving Israel is not in there.

Too bad for them and those who have a Muslim's mindset though, for the Hebrew Holy Bible is not written in Arabic originally, and the Eternal Holy One of the Hebrew Holy Bible is not going to observe any suras when dealing with Israel. Out of His love for Israel, He has made His provision to be their protector, deliverer and Savior. And that is the basis for accepting Israel as a Jewish state; and everybody needs to get used to the idea, or face the wrath of Israel's Deliverer for being disobedient to His WORD.
