Obama's Foreign Policy "Luck Be a Lady Tonight."

Reader comment on item: Why Would Anyone Want to Blow Up Times Square?

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), May 7, 2010 at 12:27

The Obama regime in its infinite wisdom was exultant that a street vendor and a cop on a horse saved lives and the administration thwarted a car bomb on the street of dreams. Holder and the Mayor were ecstatic and Janet Napolitano was finally right ... the Good Luck Foreign Policy is working ... the crotch bomber couldn't light his crotch and Jihadi Faisal purchased the wrong fire crackers. Lady luck was with New York that fateful night.

Too bad the administration is still stumbling over the word "terrorism." Perhaps Obama's Saudi mentors allowed him to use the word "terrorism" but prohibited the President from using the word "Islam" in the same sentence as the aforementioned.

That attack should make every American, especially New Yorkers, very afraid. The Obama regime is too interested in protecting the interests and civil rights of Islamic terrorists. Perhaps the President thinks the electorate is deaf, dumb and stupid. Perhaps he thinks he is so charismatic and such a fast talker that we, the people, will never know how much he owes the nation where the Wahabi and the Third Reich were joined in unholy wedlock.

The Obama foreign policy of "Good Luck" provides that we have to be right all the time and the terrorists only have to be right once ... like on Septembetr 11th. They'll be back with a bigger and better device and our luck will run out just like it did when Obama was elected.

Dr. Pipes is never fooled and never rejoices over such episodes. He carefully reminds us that we live in an insane and fanatical world and if that wasn't bad enough we elected a president whose loyalties lie elsewhere, whose birth certificate is nowhere to be found, whose law license was suspended, whose education was sealed, whose life long friendships were with terrorists, anti-semites and academics who liked to make bombs and who bows and scrapes to corrupt potentates and dictators one of whom is one degree away from launching a nuclear bomb. Maybe he'll be out of the country when it launches ... in keeping with his "Good Luck" policy.
