Western Political Correctness Of Little Benefit Dealing With Islam

Reader comment on item: Why Would Anyone Want to Blow Up Times Square?

Being too democratic and unwilling to say what we think is going to be the downfall of the West. As (mostly) passive Islam creeps into Australian society, few among our political leaders will stand up for our values and way of life and do what needs to be done to help us retain them. One senator did comment on burquas today, http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/society-and-culture/for-australias-sake-we-need-to-ban-the-burqa-20100506-ubun.html but nobody will say what really needs to be said in Australia:

we need to scrap our non-discriminatory immigration policy and refuse permanent entry to muslims to Australia. It has nothing to do with not liking muslims, I have numerous muslim friends, it's about Islam and the fact that it will never be compatible with Australian values and our culture. Moreover, we already have problems with a very small percentage of muslim inhabitants. As the numbers increase the problems will increase. Everyone knows it, but none seems to be willing to grasp the nettle and ban muslim immigration.

All of us who are concerned need to speak up before it is too late. There are many muslim countries to which people can immigrate and carry out their religion the way they wish without coming to Australia.
