Omar, read the Qu'ran. It does indeed call for violent Jihad. You can find three translations of the Qu'ran and hadiths on the USC.edu website. You will probably react in shock when I tell you to also read Jihad Watch, or perhaps Faith and Freedom

You cannot refute the claims; you will only be able to apologize for the Islamic practices taking place in the 7th century.

Guess what, Christians were really violent too, often massacred each other. However, most Christians claim this was WRONG, and do not make apologies. This is what Muslims need to do. Try AIDF, Jasser is a Muslim and claims reform is needed.
