crazy man in the elevator

Reader comment on item: Why Would Anyone Want to Blow Up Times Square?

Submitted by larry kosberg (United States), May 5, 2010 at 17:13

Ever been in an elevator with a crazy man? You know what I mean.... an obviously imbalanced and disturbed individual you just knew could be dangerous. And while they're ranting angry nonsense, drooling, and gesticulating wildly you just kinda stare straight ahead, afraid to move or even breathe for fear that the wack job next to you may turn his potentially violent craziness on you. Truth of the matter is, folks, that Western Civilization is in an elevator with 1 billion potential very crazy men. And we're afraid to even breathe. Anyone remember the Danish Cartoons? BOO ! Scared you, didn't I ?
