Shariah over the ConstitutionReader comment on item: Replacing the U.S. Constitution with the Koran Submitted by Jaisingh Thakur (India), Jul 26, 2009 at 09:34 As an Indian, I am constrained to comment that the observations made by the erudite scholar contain nothing new in them. We have known the Muslim mindset and our scholars, historians, and commentators have been commenting since as long as anyone would care to remember, on the islamic game-plan, which, essentially consists of wresting from the present-day Europeans, what their forbears lost to the sword of the valiant Charles Martel and brave band of warriors on the battle-field of Poitiers . In India, well-aware as they are of the tremendous importance of the numbers game, they have presently preferred to adopt a relatively low profile, instead continuing to breed like rabbits and thus turning their dream of overtaking the non-muslims by the sheer force of numbers. I may reiterate that islam has nothing new to offer either to India with its tolerant, liberal and assimilative outlook , nor to the world at large, where the European Enlightenment and Renaissance and the concept of the Rights on Man hold supreme sway over the hearts and minds of the common folk. However, to rest assured on the belief of our ideological superiority over islam would tantamount to throwing our coming generations to the wolves, literally.
