A fine line we cannot cross

Reader comment on item: Replacing the U.S. Constitution with the Koran
in response to reader comment: Don't care was made to care

As a active duty service member I have seen the treachery Islamic radicals are capable of first hand. We must however protect the rights of law abiding Muslims in America, while those who would attempt to subvert the Constitution of the United States should be tried for treason and executed or deported. There is a fine line there we cannot cross, that line can be blurred by stereotypes, misinformation or flat out racism.

Once that line is crossed, and innocent blood is shed on American soil in the defense of the Constitution, we are no different than the radicals we are combating. (I realize innocent blood has been shed in the name of the Constitution before, I am merely stating we should not repeat the mistakes of the past) This is a delicate subject and I don't think there is any simple answer, or solution, not to mention it appears our current leadership doesn't intend to act on the issue.
