Reader comment on item: A Call for American Boldness in Iran

Muslims on the other hand, taking their cue from the Koran abuse and curse unbelievers, as the prophet did, without having to worry about a slit throat as they know we consider such behaviour uncivilized and will not stoop to the levels of Muslims in aid of their "peaceful" religion.

Take the above quote - So what do you civilised people call barabaric? When you spectacularly bomb Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq? And your democratically chosen goverment goes on a mass killing spree? So you are people of peace? If you count the number of dead - a hell of a lot more people died at the hands of Non-Muslims killing Muslims then other way around.

1. Iraq was a massive failure.

2. Afghanistan was revenge killing

3. Pakistan - Utter cruelty.

I'll give you an easy one shall I - Russia has for years and years abused people of Chechnya. And if you read the small print - practically every major human rights organisations year after year report on the abuses - but remeber when Chechnyans took hostage of a School. That was shown right across the globe - see USA has great "interest" with Russia and hardly lifted a finger for help. But when the terrorist Chechnyans did what they did ......... well you can figure out what comes next.

And you say you are like civilised? Huh? Don't make me laugh.
