Why is Obama compliant?
Reader comment on item: A Call for American Boldness in Iran

Submitted by Michelle5publish. (Australia), Jul 10, 2009 at 21:40

Ann's comment June 24,09 expresses dissapointment over Obamas response to the rigged Iranian elections.

Having watched the American elections - from a distance -Australia - I'm amazed when reading these sites, and talking to those who were in America at the time of the elections, as well as having a niece in America whose married to a US serviceman and said, nothing she knew about Obama would stop her voting for him - I'm amazed at just how little American seems to really know about the man they elected to represent and protect them and their country. Perhaps not being exposed to the same intensified, sustained media spin attendant in an election year, it was easier to read between the lines and be more objective - from a distance.

I was not greatly surprised when Obama failed to speak out against the elephant-in-the-room election fraud in Iran, evident from the explosive and spontaneous backlash of its otherwise, routinely oppressed/suppressed people.

Obama's week kneed response seems to be body language confirmation of his identification with and hence silent support of this regimes tactics. While Obama has publicly 'spun' his way out of his close connections with Bill Ayre(homegrown terrorist), ACORN, the Rev Wright and the likes, closer scrutiny reveals a different story. Remember Obama is first and foremost a rhetorician, like our own Prime Minsiter, he depends of symbolism, style and photo ops (plus a compliant media). Only when goaded into assuming a 'strong arm' stance by supporters and opposition alike, did Obama publicly attempt to slap the Mullahs on the wrist over this abuse of power and their subsequent violent crack down on their own people.

How many Americans know of Obama's official trip as a US Senator, courtesy of the American tax payer, to Kenya, to support his 'cousin' Ralia Odinga in his effort to become President of that country; Or of Odinga's signed pledge to introduce Sharia Law into that country if he won the election, thereby gaining the Muslim vote. And whose knows anything of Odinga's rampant, violent protests following his failed bid, which saw his supporters burn Christian churches - with Christians inside!!! (numbers vary from 50 to 100's depending on which report you read). His sustained attacks led the legitimately elected President concede him a position as Prime Minister in exchange for the cessation of violence and killing (echoes of Mugabe). And what of Obama's close connections with ACORN - representing them pro bono in a legal case, and working with them as a Community Leader for 4 years going on to instruct others in these practices? How many know that ACORN is based on the writings of Saul Alinsky an American Marxist/Socialist, atheist whose book 'Rules for Radical'(dedicated to Lucifer the first rebel!!!)is the how-to' manual for ACORN? The term Community Organizer was a creation of Alinsky. And what of ACORNS ongoing charges of alleged voter election registration fraud being leveled against them in 12 US States? What was that about 'birds of a feather flock together'

If part of ACORN's modus operandi involves fraudulent voter registration, and Obama engaged the services of ACORN supports in his various campaigns including his bid for the White House, it stands to reason he'd be keeping a low profile when faced with another regime such as Iran, that employed the same covert, subversive tactics. In light of all this, is it any wonder he had little to say to Irans leaders or is it any surprise that since being elected President, Obama has directed available billions of dollars courtesy of the 'stimulus packages' to be accessed by groups such as ACORN? Further investigation in this area would yield some startling figures and reveal support for a future Obama voter pool.

So Ann, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Obama to display greater boldness on Americas behalf - not from a bowiing-deeply-from-the-waist-to-the-Saudi-King President of America.(Would love to have seen what your political cartoonist did with this one!)

In the meantime, GOD BLESS AMERICA, and all who follow after peace but not at the cost of truth.
