Reader comment on item: The Alawi Capture of Power in Syria

i agree that alawits have some false beliefs, but that doesn't make them infidel, because they believe in God and in the prophet Mohammed pbuh, but their belief is that Ali binAbi Taleb, who's the cousin of prophet Mohammed is a soldier sent by God to help prophet Mohammed in his religion spreading and holy war

however some believe that he's the God himself-which is agreed by all to be a false belief- and modern alawites decline such follyness, they also order the young man who's about to begin his religion education to drink wine, to allow the sheikh "priest" to see if that man has an evil soul , which is not accepted by most muslims. i think more recitation of the situation is needed before judging, that ye may not misjudge others

NOTE: i'm from an alawite family, however i'm sane -i hope- and i can't be a crammer or blindly led
that's why many people accuse me of being an athiest or an infidel, i -and i advice- that you follow the pillars of faith and follow the teachings of prophet Mohammad pbuh and don't entrap yourself in endless mazes of disbelief and misuderstanding or you'll surely suffer from despair and hopelessness
